Paris: The Court of Appeal of Versailles will issue its verdict on October 14 concerning the appeals from French footballer Karim Benzema and two other defendants in the alleged blackmail of his compatriot Mathieu Valbuena about the leaking of a sex tape in September 2015.
L'Equipe sports newspaper said yesterday the court set the date for ruling on the appeals of Benzema, Mustapha Zouaoui and Karim Zenati, who want the charges dropped as they claim the investigation was not fair, reports Efe.
