Bayern Munich's board member for sport, Max Eberl, shared a positive update on Jamal Musiala on Sunday, after the German forward collapsed during Saturday's friendly against RB Leipzig, which Bayern Munich won 3-1.
Shortly before the end of the match, Musiala, who had scored a goal in the 81st minute suddenly collapsed as players from both sides rushed to his aid. He subsequently managed to walk off the pitch, but appeared dazed. While the club has not revealed what caused the player to collapse, reports suggest it could have been a bout of dizziness attributed to the heatwave in Europe.
It remains uncertain if Musiala will feature in the DFL Supercup against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday (August 22.)
