Castle Boyz won the inaugural IC Royals-organised five-a-side rink football tournament at the USF turf in Borivli recently.

In a fast-paced 40-plus age-group final, Castle Boyz beat IC Colts by the odd goal in three. Dereyk Murzello and Anil D'Souza netted a goal each for Castle Boyz while Dinesh Pawar pulled one back for IC Colts.

Ruthless beat Walkers 1-0 to win super veterans final

In the super veterans final (50-plus), Ruthless beat Walkers 1-0 via tie-breaker with Sagar Amin netting the lone goal in the shootout.

Anil D'Souza was adjudged best player in the 40-plus category while Agnelo D'Silva of Walkers was named best player in the 50-plus category. The winning teams received a cash prize of Rs 30,000 while the runners-up got richer by Rs 15,000.
