Chelsea-Wolfsburg fail to reach deal over Schurrle

London: Wolfsburg have admitted that negotiations to sign Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle have stalled.

Wolfsburg have revealed that Chelsea have not accepted their bid for Schurrle and have warned Jose Mourinho's men that time is running out to complete a deal, with the winter window set to close today.

"There is no agreement at the moment," sporting director Klaus Allofs told Wolfsburger Nachrichten.

"The clock is running out. Our options are getting less hour by hour. It depends on money. We still would like to sign him."
