Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand decided to take time out from his commentary duties to spend time with girlfriend Kate Wright in the build-up to Christmas.

The ex-England international posted this picture of himself with his arms wrapped around the TOWIE star during a night out at his restaurant in Manchester. "Cheeky night out with this one #Rosso" Ferdinand wrote. The picture instantly went viral. Many of his fans branded them "couples goals". "Sooo happy for u", a fan wrote, while another added: "Happy for you mate rio!"
