Tottenham Hotspur and England international Conor Gallagher, 26, did not make the cut for the FIFA World Cup squad, but the time off has given him the chance to get engaged to long-time girlfriend Aine Kennedy, during a romantic vacation in Mallorca.
Gallagher, who won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021 and also played for Atletico Madrid, Instagrammed a series of pictures of the newly engaged couple and captioned the post: "Here's to forever."
Kennedy also posted a video of the proposal, which was done at a five star hotel, overlooking a lush, green valley with the sea glinting in the distance, while the couple were serenaded by violinists amid lovely floral arrangements.
Hailing from Ireland, Kennedy is a model and professional dancer. The couple has been dating for eight years, from the time Gallagher was at Chelsea's academy.
