Former England and Liverpool legend footballer Steven Gerrard and wife Alex welcomed baby boy Lio George Gerrard on Saturday morning. Gerrard, who is a big fan of Argentina and Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, has reportedly named his newborn after the striker.
Gerrard confirmed the birth of his son with a picture (inset) on Instagram. "Lio George Gerrard was born this morning at 4.55am. Both are doing great. Our family is complete," he wrote. The couple, who tied the knot in 2007, have three daughters - Lilly-Ella (13), Lexie (10) and Lourdes (five).
