Former England football captain David Beckham rescued a woman in Courchevel, France, after she suffered a nasty fall while skiing on the slopes of the French Alps.

The British woman was reportedly skiing with two pals last week when the incident happened, reported British tabloid The Sun.

As soon as she fell, the former Manchester United and England midfielder, 50, who is on a family holiday in France, rushed to help the lady and assisted her in taking off her skis before making sure she's fine. "David saw the woman hit her head and was worried about her. He took her skis off and made sure she was OK. He was a true gentleman. David was incredibly lovely, and so was the ski guide with him," a source told the British newspaper.
