Former England football star Frank Lampard and his wife Christine have been married for two years. The Irish broadcaster is stepmother to the ex-Chelsea veteran's two daughters - Isla and Luna, from his former relationship with model Elen Rives.

Speaking to the Mail On Sunday's You Magazine, Christine (38) admitted becoming a mum "wasn't on the agenda" and she was happy to let life take its course.

"I am always being asked when I am going to have a baby. Everyone seems to be fascinated by my body clock. As far as I am concerned, my attitude is that I will wait and see what happens," Christine said.

"I'm not pushing myself. I'm not getting stressed or unhappy. I'm a believer in what will be will be," she added.

Christine also appeared to rule out IVF - a medical procedure to help people with fertility problems or older mums - in favour of a natural conception. "I know friends who have torn themselves apart and jeopardised their relationship because going through IVF was so traumatic and I don't know if I could do that to myself or Frank," she said.
