‘Hell will freeze over before I say sorry’ Rebekah Vardy on Rooney saga

One year after the verdict of one of the most high-profile libel cases the sport of football has seen, former Leicester City star Jamie Vardy's wife Rebekah is still bitter with Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney's spouse Coleen.

In an episode of the new reality show, ‘The Vardys,' Rebekah said she has no intention of apologising to Coleen after the latter initiated legal action against Rebekah in 2022 for allegedly leaking stories from her Instagram account.

"I'm living with the judgment made, but I still believe she [Coleen] was wrong. People constantly go, ‘Well, it's not going to change anything unless you apologise' - but I'm not apologising for something I didn't do. Hell will freeze over before I do that," said Rebekah, 44, who was directed to pay Coleen, 40, £1.2mn (approx Rs 15.4cr).
