Rink football tournament: IC Royals rule Holy Cross in the event

IC Royals emerged champions of the Holy Cross Sports Federation-organised 5-a-side rink football tournament at Holy Cross Colony, Borivli, recently. In a keenly-contested summit clash, the Royals got the better of their neighbourhood rivals IC Colts 1-0 to clinch the veterans title.

Mehul Sutariya netted the winner for IC Royals. In the open category final, Kaeden FC beat Castle Boys 2-1 via tie-breaker.

Malad-based Kaeden FC took the lead through Mohit Koli only for Colin Abranches to equalise for Castle boys. In the shootout, Koli scored again to give the
Malad side victory.
