Ex-England footballer Peter Crouch's wife and model Abbey Clancy has spilled the beans on her husband's behaviour at home, claiming she's still trying to teach him how to be more emotionally intelligent during arguments.
"I'm trying to train Pete to be more emotionally intelligent as sometimes he's like a baby," Clancy, who has been married to the former Liverpool striker for 14 years, told Wales Online.
"He'll walk out, slam a door and ignore me for an hour [during an argument]. But he's getting better, and we're very solid as a unit. Ours is a happy house," the 39-year-old added.
Crouch exchanged vows with Clancy in June 2011. The pair have four children together - Sophia Ruby (14 years), Liberty Rose (10 years), Johnny (seven years), and Jack (six years).
Taking care of four children can be tough, especially when it comes to planning meals, which Clancy says is her duty in the household, while throwing her husband's culinary skills under the bus.
"Dinner is always cooked by me. If I'm too tired or I'm not at home, Pete will either grab a takeaway or rustle up the only dish he ever makes, which is Daddy's omelette - basically crammed with whatever's lurking in the fridge," she said with a laugh.
