Jude, that’s rude! Bellingham in hot water after WC slap

Argentina defender Valentin Barco's wife Yaz Jaureguy has slammed England star Jude Bellingham for slapping her partner following the semi-final match which the Three Lions lost 1-2.

Soon after the final whistle, Barco, who was an unused substitute, rushed onto the pitch to celebrate with his teammates. In the course of doing so, he is alleged to have passed a comment on Bellingham, who was standing nearby, prompting the England player to slap him on the head before the two were seen having a heated argument as players from both sides intervened.

In the aftermath of the incident, Barco's wife came to his defence, putting out a social media post calling Bellingham ‘useless,' and saying: "It's better to have done your talking on the pitch." According to British tabloid The Sun, she took down her original post after being criticised on social media, but hit back with another post saying: "I didn't know that suddenly you can't celebrate goals, but you can endorse a violent person. Switch to a different sport if you're going to cry so much."
