The new La Liga season is still weeks away, but the first El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid on foreign soil in 35 years, at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami is sold-out, with tickets in black costing upwards of $900 [R57,000] each.
It's the first encounter between the two sides in the United States. Back in 1982, the match staged post-season in Venezuela, coming just before that year's World Cup, was so nondescript it wasn't even shown on TV in Europe.
Live music and DJs will keep in-stadia fans entertained, while watch parties on huge TV screens are planned for those unlucky enough to miss out on that seriously over-priced ticket!
