Neymar Jr and model Emily Ratajkowski face fans' fury for posing together

Brazil striker Neymar Jr was recently trolled on social media after model Emily Ratajkowski posted this picture of a photo shoot featuring the two for Italian fashion brand, Replay, on her Instagram account.

"In Paris today with a special guy for a special project! @neymarjr @replay stay tuned #hyperflexplus," Ratajkowski captioned the photograph. Many football fans expected Neymar to help Brazil win the World Cup, but the five-time champions crashed out after losing 1-2 to Belgium in the quarter-final.

"Careful with your hand on his shoulder, he might fall and that's a red card for you," an online user wrote. Another one added, "Make sure you didn't break his shoulder or neck. Hopefully he did not scream in pain." A third one said, "Are you crazy putting your arm on his shoulder??? He can die injured because of you," even as a fourth wrote: "It will be funny to see Emily acting as Ney in a football game."

His diving and over-the-top theatrics in Russia were heavily criticised and later he admitted to exaggerating challenges and wrote on social media: "You may think I exaggerate. And sometimes I do exaggerate. But the truth is I suffer on the pitch."
