Manchester United great Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he's making more money now as a football pundit and businessman than during his playing days, when he used to be one of the highest paid footballers, earning £6 million (approx Rs 77.3cr) a year.
In a recent episode of the podcast Off the Pitch, Ferdinand was asked in which year did he make the most money, to which the former England international replied: "The last few years actually."
While he didn't reveal the exact figure, British publication The Daily Mail estimated Ferdinand's net worth to be £57 million (Rs 734 cr) thanks to his extensive portfolio as a football expert, investor, podcaster, and luxury developer in Dubai.
