Despite being American, actress Eva Longoria has pledged her allegiance to Mexico for the ongoing FIFA World Cup because her family's roots belong there.
"Seeing Mexico win would be one of the most emotional moments imaginable. When Mexico plays, you're not just watching a team.
You're watching your culture, your history, your people represented on the world stage," said Longoria, 51, who is best known for her role in the hit US TV show Desperate Housewives.
