Midfield star Federico Valverde scored a sensational hat-trick in Real Madrid's recent UEFA Champions League win over Manchester City and backed that up by scoring in Los Blancos's 4-1 win over Elche in the Spanish League. His wife Mina Bonino was quick to jokingly link his recent purple patch to her pregnancy.

Bonino, a media professional and social media influencer with over one million followers, put up a story on her Instagram recently, reacting to Valverde's goal-scoring spree, and accompanied it with a caption that read: "Me realising that my husband's prime comes when I'm pregnant," followed by a laughing emoji.
