Barcelona were crowned the La Liga champions for the 2025-26 season after a 2-0 home win over Real Madrid. The win leaves Barcelona 14 points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table.

Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a beautiful free-kick, before Ferran Torres doubled Barca's lead with a clinical finish after Dani Olmo's backheel assist.

Barca had their chance to go 3-0 up before the half-time, but Courtois made some important saves to keep Real Madrid in the game.

Real Madrid struggled to react at the start of the second half, with Courtois cutting out a dangerous Rashford cross and saving well from Torres. Jude Bellingham saw a goal ruled out for offside.

Courtois saved from Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski in the closing minutes, while Barcelona held on for the win and will celebrate its title in front of its fans against its arch rivals.
