It was a proud moment for the Bombay Gymkhana rugby team that won the recent 79th All-India & South Asia Rugby Championship in Kolkata under the leadership of Nasser Hussain

It's been a decade-long wait for Bombay Gymkhana, who last won the 2002 edition of the tournament under Chaitanya Sinh's leadership.

"I was in my early 30s when we won the title in 2002. But this is the best birthday gift. We won the title on Sept 15 - a day before my birthday. So it's double celebration," said 42-year-old Sinh, as the winnners, who beat five-time champs Army Red 7-0 in the Premiere Div One event, were felicitated over the weekend.

Skipper Nasser Hussain said his team was now looking forward to hosting and defending the title in 2013. u00a0
