Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, (72) who has been suffering from Parkinson's disease for almost three decades now, is very ill and, according to some family members, not expected to last until the end of this year, reported New York Times.

Ali's poor health, coincides with the Hollywood premiere of a new film on his life titled, I Am Ali, last week. Though the boxer was unable to play a part in the film, he is said to have given the project his nod.
Veteran British boxing promoter Frank Warren recently wrote in a newspaper column that he'd heard that Ali's condition is more serious than it has ever been.
According to reports, Ali's expressionless face notwithstanding, he manages to communicate via grunts and gestures that are comprehensible only to his fourth wife Lonnie and her younger sister Marilyn, who are currently looking after him at his mansion in Arizona.
