Lone Indian left in the fray as Shiv Kapur and Jyoti Randhawa miss cut

SSP Chowrasia, down nine rungs to tied 12th with a two-over 73 in the second round, was the lone Indian left in fray after Shiv Kapur and Jyoti Randhawa missed the cut at the BMW PGA Championship.

Chowrasia, overnight tied third with a 67 in the opening round, couldn't strike a single birdie on the second day and dropped two bogeys to total two-under 140 overall. The Kolkata-pro's bogeys came on the ninth and 11th holes.

However, it was curtains for Kapur and Randhawa, who finished way below the cut-line. Kapur finished with a total of five-over 147 despite turning in an improved three-under 68 in the second round. Randhawa, in contrast, carded a second successive 74 to finish a stroke behind Kapur.

At the top, England's Luke Donald (68) took the sole lead with a total of six-under 136. Englishmen Ross Fisher (70) and Danny Willett (72) along with South Africa's James Kingston (69) shared the second spot a shot behind Donald.
