Don Bosco High School (Matunga) and St Agnes High School (Byculla) won the overall Championship Trophies in the boys and girls categories respectively at the Bombay City District Amateur Athletics Championships held recently at Priyadarshini Park, Nepean Sea Road.
Monish Poojari of Sprinters Club emerged the fastest athlete at the meet clocking 11.4 seconds for the gold medal, while Hema Bhanga of Mumbai Police was the fastest woman clocking 12.7 seconds in the 100m dash.
Selected winners will get to participate in the upcoming national championships at Haridwar from April 25-27.
