Hollywood superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has hailed a 10-year-old American boy for saving his brother's life after copying a scene from one of his movies.

Johnson plays the role of a rescue helicopter pilot in the movie San Andreas and in one of the scene, he pulls his drowning daughter from floodwaters and performs CPR after an earthquake devastates Los Angeles. Jacob O'Connor, 10, was at his grandmother's house when his brother, Dylan, 2, fell into a swimming pool.

"I pulled him out and gave him compressions," said Jacob adding that he had learnt to do CPR from San Andreas. On learning about the incident, Johnson tweeted: "Wow, amazing story. You're a real life hero. We're all proud of you!"
