India chess champ Tania Sachdev is as well known for her good looks as she is for her good moves on the chequered board. And the Delhi girl thrives on both counts. "To me, fashion means being confident in whatever you wear, and to carry yourself well. I believe fashion comes naturally to me," Sachdev, who teamed up with Padmini Rout to win the bronze medal at the Asian Indoor Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, recently told mid-day.

"It was the classical, rapid and blitz event. The rapid section went well in the qualifying stages, but we couldn't make it to the final and finished third, but I am happy to bring back a medal for the country," added the Arjuna awardee. Unwinding is as important as playing, says Sachdeva. "It's tough to find a lot of time between preparation and playing but it's important to unwind after a game, so that you are fresh for the next round. I like going for a walk or catching up with friends over dinner after a game," added the Red Bull athlete, who loves experimenting with various cuisines during international trips.
