The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) yesterday withdrew the medals from six of the current junior national champions, who failed to provide samples to the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) for dope test. WFI had requested NADA to collect samples from the Junior National Championships held in Chandigarh from May 9-12.
However, some grapplers, including medal winners, avoided giving samples and fled the competition venue. They were - Rahul Pal (84 kg), Amit (74 kg), Sandeep (60 kg),Sunil Kumar (120 kg), Anoop (84 kg) and Manjeet (84 kg).u00a0
