Ayush Hindlekar of Sacred Heart (Worli) beat Sanyam Jain of Jasudben ML School (Khar) 6-1 to enter the pre-quarterfinals of the boys U-12 Mumbai Schools Sports Association inter-school tennis tournament at the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association courts yesterday. In another U-12 match, Shivam Kadam of Don Bosco (Matunga) beat Dethan Kapadia of Hansraj Morarji (Andheri) 6-1 to enter the pre-quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, Ayush, Shivam and Yatiraj Karhade of Don Bosco (Matunga) have been selected to represent India at the World Junior Soft Tennis championships to be held in Ahmedabad from Nov 14.
