Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player LeBron James teamed up with a global shoe company to make special sneakers for special athletes. Named the LeBron Soldier 10 FlyEase, the shoe has no laces and has velcro instead.

"It's about us empowering every kid and everybody to understand we are all athletes," James said.

James, a father of three kids, was passionately involved with the project. Last week, he hosted children from the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation at the team's facility, so he could present them with new pairs of the convenient and comfortable slip-on sneakers.
