ONGC beat Air India 5-4 via tie-breaker to be crowned champions of the RCF Nadkarni Cup, organised and conducted by RCF under the aegis of MDFA at the RCF Sports Complex in Chembur yesterday.

Air India began well and could have been one up early, but a header from Sagar Chile was stopped by F Lalmuanpuia intentionally with his right hand on the goalline for which he was red-carded. However, Vijith Shetty's attempt from the resulting penalty was saved by ONGC goalie Ubaid CK diving to his left.
