Indian tennis is on the rise. After a good showing in the Asian and Commonwealth Games, India's doubles player Purav Raja teamed up with American Treat Huey to capture the doubles crown of the Dunlop World Challenge in Toyota, Japan recently.
The top-seeded pair played aggressively to dispatch the unseeded Japanese pair of Tasuku Iwami and Hiroki Condo, 6-1, 6-2 in the final.
It was the first title for the Indo-Amercian pair, who never dropped a set en route to winning the crown.
