Rishabh Kumar of Bombay Gymkhana overcame Jaiveer Dhingra of CCI to clinch the title in the SPG-Park Club Billiards Tournament, jointly organised and hosted by Shivaji Park Gymkhana and The Park Club.
Rewarded for consistency, seasoned Kumar cruised to an impressive 633-512 triumph over one of the state's top juniors, as he thrived on small but significant breaks.
With both cueists playing with a handicap of +110, the final saw Dhingra initially take a 30-point lead before Kumar made a dozen breaks of 30 to move ahead by 150 points.
Dhingra fought hard but Kumar chose to play safe and won 633-512.
