Playing in pouring rain, Jamnabai Narsee girls spearheaded by Samika Bhimani, played well enough to beat Borivli’s St Lawrence 2-0 to make the last eight in the girls under-17 section of the Subroto Mukherjee Cup football tournament (for suburban schools) of the Maharashtra government’s DSO (Divisional Sports Office) at Francis D’Assisi high school ground (Borivli) ground here yesterday
Playing in pouring rain, Jamnabai Narsee girls spearheaded by Samika Bhimani, played well enough to beat Borivli's St Lawrence 2-0 to make the last eight in the girls under-17 section of the Subroto Mukherjee Cup football tournament (for suburban schools) of the Maharashtra government's DSO (Divisional Sports Office) at Francis D'Assisi high school ground (Borivli) ground here yesterday. Both the goals came through Samika in the first half itself.
