Sania-Vesnina pair enters Indian Wells final

Indian wells: Sania Mirza and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina stormed into the Indian Wells women's doubles final here yesterday even as the Indo-Pak express of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi were stunned in their doubles semi-final of the BNP Paribas ATP Tour 1000 tournament yesterday.

Mirza-Vesnina beat Daniela Hantuchova and Agnieszka Radwanska 6-0, 6-4 and take on Americans Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Meghan Shaughnessy in the final.

On the other hand, Bopanna-Qureshi were shocked by Belgian Xavier Malisse and Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-3, 3-6, 8-10 in a match that went down to the wire with the Ukrainian-Belgian pair sealing off the issue in the super tie-break.
