Jeju (South Korea): Indian boxers Shamjetsabam Sarjubala and Saweety notched up contrasting victories yesterday to reach the semi-finals and assure themselves of a medal each at the Women's World Championships.
Sarjubala (48kg) started the proceedings with a dominating 3-0 win over Suguro Aldriani of Indonesia in the weight category quarter-final, while Saweety (81kg) followed it up with a 2-1 win over Marsic Anamarija of Croatia in another quarter-final bout.
