India's middle-distance runners Sajeesh Joseph and Sinimole Paulose's dreams of qualifying for the London Games came crashing as they failed to achieve the qualifying mark at the Sollentuna Grand Prix in Stockholm.

Sinimole, a bronze medallist in the Asian Games, finished a disappointing 7th in the women's 1500 meters on Thursday. Sinimole clocked 4:13.91 secs, much below to Olympic qualification timing.

Meanwhile in the men's 800 meters, Joseph finished second in the B race in 1:47.87s behind Mayni Ahmed who narrow won in 1:47.69s. Sajeesh has been consistently running in 1:47 but could not crack 1:46.u00a0
