Thane girl Tanvi Deshmukh won gold in the below 37 kg category at the 11th Maharashtra State Thai Boxing Championships held in Kharadi, Pune recently. Tanvi, a Class V student of Shreema NBal Niketan School in Kopri, Thane won the top spot beating Trupti Medge in the gold medal match.
