Chief national coach for the Indian badminton team Pullela Gopichand took a dig at former athletes for whom representing the country at the Olympics was a mere international trip, unlike the current crop who are hungry for medals.

"During my time, the Olympics was an international trip. It's not the same though for the current crop.
They want to go there, compete and want to settle for nothing less than a medal," said Gopichand.
