British boxer Amir Khan's estranged wife, Faryal Makhdoom, has hit back at online trolls, who criticised her for this picture which she uploaded on social media yesterday. Makhdoom captioned the picture Poison Ivy and said it was merely her Halloween costume and not a party outfit which some objected to.
Makhdoom, 26, was slammed by one follower for "disobeying Islam" while another said: "as a Muslim you shouldn't dress up." To this, Faryal shot back: "It's a Halloween look guys, not an everyday party look lol. Please relax."
Faryal and Amir split earlier this year following a series of explosive tweets in which Khan accused her of cheating on him with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.
However, Khan later clarified things with Joshua and accepted that he erred in his accusation.
