New York: Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki (26), senior editor of The Players Tribune, has written a rather touching letter to her younger self - advising an 11-year-old Caroline to respect her parents and appreciate family values.

She writes that her father, Piotr, was right in asking her to pick tennis over football as a kid: "You were convinced you were going to be a soccer player when you grew up, but there weren't many girls' teams in Denmark then, and dad didn't like you having to play on the boys' teams. So he steered you toward tennis. Then you won the Danish junior championship for girls U-12⦠so, dad was right."
