Chess Olympiad: Indian men’s team win silver, women bag bronze

The Indian men played out a draw with Hungary and settled for the silver medal via a tie-break, while the women drew with Georgia to bring home the bronze medal in the 46th Chess Olympiad that concluded here on Sunday.

The Indian men ended up with 18 points and were tied for the second spot with Germany, while the Indian women's team ended with nine points. Uzbekistan and China won gold in the men's and women's competitions respectively.
