Chhattisgarh down Maharashtra in Ramu Memorial basketball

Maharashtra eves, depleted due to exams, went down 60-71 to Chhattisgarh in the opening game of the United Phosphorus and Tridhaatu Realty & Infra-sponsored 28th All India Ramu Memorial basketball tournament at Indian Gymkhana yesterday


M Sangeeta of Chhattisgarh scored a game high 22 points with 12 rebounds as her team kept themselves constantly ahead of their rivals.

Other top contributors for Chhattisgarh were N Pushpa (20 points), D Amjana (19) and K Aruna (10).
