Devesh sends Prashant packing

Dharmesh Dharmarajan sent Prashant Shah, who must be twice the former's age, packing in the men's singles quarter-finals of the Yonex-backed Rotary Club of Mumbai (Dahisar) Open Badminton tournament at their courts at Dahisar (East) today.


The tie produced an engrossing tussle as the junior from Kandivali's Thakur Public School involved Shah in long rallies and beat him at the net frequently on his way to a 21-11, 21-15u00a0triumph.

Meanwhile, top seeded Abhidnya Sawant beat Rohan Kadam 21-11, 21-15.u00a0
