The victorious Don Bosco (Matunga) boys with their medals in Pune

Don Bosco (Matunga) emerged 1-0 victors over Gautam Public School (Pune) in the final of the U-15 Nehru Hockey Tournament at the Krida Prabhodini school ground in Balewadi, Pune, recently.

The Bosco boys began on the front foot, putting Gautam Public under pressure right from the start. Their aggression was rewarded when Naitish Jadhav scored the winner (12th minute)with a stinging reverse hit after receiving an accurate slap pass from Samarth Singh.
