Besides Kom, L Sarita Devi clinched struck gold as Indian boxers finished fourth overall with two gold, one silver and five bronze medals in the Women's Asian boxing championship in Kazakhstan yesterday.

Mary Kom who got a walkover in the semi-finals, defeated Korea's Jong Ok of 8-1 in the final.

"It turned out to be easier then expected. The walkover that I got in the semi-final helped as I was fresh for the final," Kom said.

L Sarita Devi also won her bout in similarly dominant fashion as she beat Mongolia's Miagmardulan 16-5 in the flyweight (51kg) final.
