Following his hat-trick against South Korea yesterday, Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain praised the effort of his teammates, insisting the side's collective performance was bigger than his own.
"You have to think about the team before thinking about being a goalscorer," the Real Madrid forward told the club's official website.

"We converted the chances we failed to capitalise on in our previous match (against Nigeria)."
"The entire team played a great role," he added. "We are happy with our performance. We wanted to kill the game off and we did so in the second half."
The 4-1 victory seals Argentina's berth into the second round but Pipita assured los Albicelestes fans that the team wouldn't take their foot off the pedal. "We can't afford to relax," he said. "This is a World Cup and anything can happen. We are doing a good job, but we have to stay focused."
Higuain may have scored the goals but Lionel Messi's contribution was certainly as great as he played a part in all four goals. The Barcelona player was pulling all the strings and looked in top form.
He will surely be disappointed for not getting on to the score sheet himself, but if he can continue to perform like this, Argentina will surely go a long way into the tournament.
The youngsters, though, was highly critical of the vuvuzelas, whom he blamed for the goal Argentina conceded. "You could not hear anything, just like the other day," Messi said.
"That's why that happened to Micho. Everyone was shouting at him, and he could not hear it, he could not see," Messi said with reference to defender Martin Demichelis whose lapse in concentration led to the goal.
Lee Chung Yong made the most of a mistake by Demichelis to score the lone South Korean goal
of the match.
