Two-time Grand Slam finalist Amanda Anisimova, 25, has slammed online trolls for their body-shaming comments on her recent Instagram post.
The American World No. 11 shared a post from her recent training session at the gym, which prompted comments regarding her weight loss with some suggesting she is using Ozempic - a medicine that lowers blood sugar levels, and is often prescribed for weight loss.
Anisimova hit back, saying: "To all the health experts and body commentators, I'm not taking Ozempic. Please leave me alone and out of your posts."
Negative comments about her body are not new to the tennis ace. Following her third-round loss to Madison Keys at Wimbledon in July, some critics suggested her physique was to blame for her lacklustre display. Anisimova tuned out the comments and responded with a cheeky picture of herself chilling in a swimming pool.
