The Indian contingent returned with medals galore from the 10th World Culture Expo Taekwondo Championship held at Muju, South Korea from July 12-19.

Under Taekwondo Master Jayesh Velhal, a fifth degree black belt and international referee, the Indian team won over 30 medals across age groups ranging from U-8 to U-25 in the competition that attracted over 1800 participants from across the world.

Some of the gold medal-winners were Fia Inamdar, Kochhar, A Hirani (all U-8), J Doshi, A Batra, P Wankawalla (all U-13), Tvisha Modi (U-16), Rajan Singh (U-25), Nishant Shind, Vinit Sawant, H Wankawalla, Anaiya Batra and Harsh Bhambhani.
