MSSA carrom tourney sees huge rise in participation

The 43rd Dreams Sports MSSA inter-school carrom tournament at St Ignatius High School, Jacob Circle, saw a significant rise in participation on Wednesday. A total of 468 players (348 boys and 120 girls) are competing across the U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-16 categories this year, compared to 320 last year. "The rise in number is extremely enrouraging," said MSSA carrom secretary Rajesh Ovalekar.
