MSSA inter-school tennis tournament: Ose, Aadiraj emerge U-16 champions

Ose Ahuja of Bombay Scottish School (Mahim) and Aadiraj Bramhanathkar of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (Vile Parle) emerged champions in the girls and boys U-16 category, respectively, of the Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school tennis tournament at Bombay Gymkhana on Friday.

In a best-of-one set, Ose beat Samika Khanna of Dhirubhai Ambani International School (BKC) 6-4, while Aadiraj beat Arryan Gupta of NSS Hillspring (Tardeo) 6-2 in the boys summit clash.

Meanwhile, the U-14 category witnessed both finals ending in walkovers. Vidyut Sundar of Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (BKC) was handed the boys title while Chahat Thakur of Hansraj Morarji Public School (Andheri) was given the girls title.

In the boys U-12 summit clash, Aadvik Khanna edged past his twin brother and schoolmate from Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (BKC) Aarush Khanna in a thrilling tie-breaker to win 7-6.
