Commonwealth Games Organising Committee Secretary General Lalit Bhanot on saturday said sprint legend P T Usha could not have been given invitation for the opening ceremony today as she figures among the Indian contingent.
Usha had complained that she was not invited for the opening ceremony but Bhanot said there was no issue in that matter.
"Usha is in Indian contingent as Tintu Luka's coach and there is no need to extend her an invite.
She may take part in the march past also. So there was no issue," said Bhanot.
